The battle between New Hampshire and Central Connecticut State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Central Connecticut State was handed a 67-45 defeat on Saturday at Lundholm Gym.
New Hampshire got 20 points from Blondeau Tchoukuiegno and another 14 points from Jayden Martinez. Blondeau Tchoukuiegno contributed 5 assists, while Jayden Martinez cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Central Connecticut State got 15 points from Nigel Scantlebury in a losing cause and another 8 points from Ian Krishnan. Nigel Scantlebury contributed 4 assists for them, while Nigel Scantlebury had 5 rebounds.
New Hampshire was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
New Hampshire won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-16.
Next game, New Hampshire takes its act on the road to face Bryant looking for another win. For Central Connecticut State, they head on the road to face Providence.
