Elon Falls 93-81 Against Jacksonville State - Game Recap
Elon was burned for 40 points by Jalen Gibbs on Saturday as Jacksonville State picked up a 93-81 win at Schar Center.
Jacksonville State got 14 points from Darian Adams and another 11 points from Brandon Huffman. Demaree King contributed 8 assists, while Brandon Huffman cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Elon got 18 points from Zac Ervin in a losing cause and another 13 points from Hunter Woods. Hunter McIntosh contributed 6 assists for them, while Hunter Woods had 8 rebounds.
Jacksonville State led at halftime, 46-34.
Jacksonville State had a 32-24 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Jacksonville State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the South Alabama. Elon will aim to get back on the winning track at UNC Greensboro.
