The battle between Clemson and Charleston Southern didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Charleston Southern was handed a 91-59 defeat on Friday at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Nick Honor had 17 points for Clemson and Al-Amir Dawes chipped in with 16 points. Nick Honor had 7 assists for them, while Naz Bohannon was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
Charleston Southern got 14 points from Tahlik Chavez in a losing cause and another 11 points from Kalib Clinton. Kalib Clinton contributed 2 assists for them, while Sadarius Bowser had 5 rebounds.
Clemson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Clemson had a 41-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
