Drake Falls 74-69 to Belmont - Recap
Drake was burned for 31 points by Nick Muszynski on Thursday as Belmont picked up a 74-69 win at HP Field House.
Belmont was an underdog by +4.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Belmont got 17 points from Ben Sheppard and another 11 points from Will Richard. Grayson Murphy contributed 6 assists, while Will Richard cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Drake got 18 points from Tremell Murphy in a losing cause and another 12 points from Tucker DeVries. Roman Penn contributed 5 assists for them, while Garrett Sturtz had 11 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Belmont were victorious, as the score was 40-34 at the break.
Belmont had a 39-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
