Rider got 14 points from Jeremiah Pope as they ran past Delaware State 63-53 on Sunday at Alumni Gymnasium.
Rider got 13 points from Dwight Murray Jr. and another 12 points from Dimencio Vaughn. Corey McKeithan contributed 3 assists, while Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Delaware State got 17 points from Myles Carter in a losing cause and another 13 points from Fahim Jenneto. Corey Perkins contributed 4 assists for them, while Chris Sodom had 15 rebounds.
Rider was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Rider looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Bucknell. Delaware State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Regent.
