Campbell Falls 66-56 Against Elon - Game Recap
Elon got 23 points from Hunter McIntosh en route to a 66-56 victory over Campbell on Wednesday at Schar Center.
Elon got 12 points from Kris Wooten and another 12 points from Jerald Gillens-Butler. Ikenna Ndugba contributed 3 assists, while Hunter Woods cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Campbell got a 14-point performance from Jordan Whitfield, who was supported by 12 points from Cedric Henderson Jr.. Jesus Carralero had 2 assists in a losing cause for Campbell, while Cedric Henderson Jr. grabbed 5 rebounds.
Elon was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Elon won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-20.
Next game, Elon takes its act home to face UNC Greensboro looking for another win. For Campbell, they head on the road to face North Carolina State.
