Recap - USC Defeats BYU 79-53
The battle between USC and BYU didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as BYU was handed a 79-53 defeat on Tuesday at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Drew Peterson had 19 points for USC and Evan Mobley chipped in with 17 points. Tahj Eaddy had 4 assists for them, while Isaiah Mobley was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
BYU got 11 points from Gideon George in a losing cause and another 11 points from Matt Haarms. Alex Barcello contributed 4 assists for them, while Gideon George had 6 rebounds.
USC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
USC won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-34.
USC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Connecticut. BYU will aim to get back on the winning track vs. St. John's.
