Gonzaga Defeats Dixie State 112-67 - Recap
Dixie State was run off the court by Gonzaga on Tuesday as they blasted them 112-67 at McCarthey Athletic Center.
Gonzaga won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -37.5-point spread as favorites.
Gonzaga got 25 points from Corey Kispert and another 21 points from Joel Ayayi. Joel Ayayi contributed 6 assists, while Joel Ayayi cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Dixie State got a 20-point performance from Cameron Gooden, who was supported by 11 points from Jacob Nicolds. Brock Gilbert had 9 assists in a losing cause for Dixie State, while Jacob Nicolds grabbed 7 rebounds.
Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Gonzaga had a 37-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Gonzaga takes its act home to face San Francisco looking for another win. For Dixie State, they head home to face American Indian College.
