Recap - UTSA Defeats Texas-Permian Basin 97-71
The battle between UTSA and Texas-Permian Basin didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Texas-Permian Basin was handed a 97-71 defeat on Friday at UTSA Convocation Center.
UTSA got 20 points from Eric Parrish and another 19 points from Keaton Wallace. Keaton Wallace contributed 5 assists, while Jacob Germany cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Texas-Permian Basin got 22 points from Malik Brikat in a losing cause and another 18 points from Jordan Horn. Jordan Horn contributed 3 assists for them, while Malik Brikat had 15 rebounds.
UTSA was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UTSA won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-38.
