Boise State Defeats UNLV 61-59 - Recap
UNLV was burned for 27 points by Derrick Alston Jr. on Saturday as Boise State picked up a 61-59 win at ExtraMile Arena.
Boise State did not, however, defeat UNLV against the spread, which closed at -9.5 at most sportsbooks.
Devonaire Doutrive had 9 points for Boise State and Mladen Armus chipped in with 8 points. Emmanuel Akot had 2 assists for them, while Mladen Armus was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.
UNLV got 19 points from David Jenkins Jr. in a losing cause and another 13 points from Bryce Hamilton. Bryce Hamilton contributed 4 assists for them, while Devin Tillis had 8 rebounds.
Boise State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Utah State. UNLV will aim to get back on the winning track at San Jose State.
