IPFW Defeats Southeastern Louisiana 67-63 - Recap
Jalon Pipkins scored 18 points leading IPFW to a 67-63 victory over Southeastern Louisiana at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday.
IPFW got 14 points from Bobby Planutis and another 13 points from DeMierre Black. Demetric Horton contributed 4 assists, while Ra Kpedi cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Southeastern Louisiana got 20 points from Nick Caldwell in a losing cause and another 10 points from Joe Kasperzyk. Joe Kasperzyk contributed 2 assists for them, while Pape Diop had 9 rebounds.
IPFW was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Southeastern Louisiana had a 34-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
IPFW looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Alcorn State. Southeastern Louisiana will aim to get back on the winning track at UAB.
