The battle between Texas and Kansas didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Kansas was handed a 84-59 defeat on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse.
Texas was an underdog by +4.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Courtney Ramey had 18 points for Texas and Andrew Jones chipped in with 14 points. Matt Coleman III had 6 assists for them, while Jericho Sims was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Kansas got a 20-point performance from Jalen Wilson, who was supported by 11 points from Ochai Agbaji. Marcus Garrett had 4 assists in a losing cause for Kansas, while Jalen Wilson grabbed 7 rebounds.
Texas led at halftime, 37-30.
Texas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-33.
Next game, Texas takes its act home to face Iowa State looking for another win. For Kansas, they head on the road to face TCU.
