Recap - UAB Defeats Marshall 88-80
UAB got 19 points from Tyreek Scott-Grayson as they ran past Marshall 88-80 on Thursday at Bartow Arena.
UAB was a -2.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Will Butler had 16 points for UAB and Jalen Benjamin chipped in with 14 points. Tyreek Scott-Grayson had 5 assists for them, while Will Butler was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Marshall got 22 points from Taevion Kinsey in a losing cause and another 17 points from Iran Bennett. Taevion Kinsey contributed 7 assists for them, while Mikel Beyers had 6 rebounds.
UAB was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UAB won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-30.
Next game, UAB takes its act on the road to face UTSA looking for another win. For Marshall, they head home to face Florida Atlantic.
