Maui Invitational - BYU Falls 71-56 Against Kansas - Game Recap
David McCormack scored 16 points leading Kansas to a 71-56 victory over BYU at Lahaina Civic Center on Tuesday.
Kansas was a -12.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Kansas got 14 points from Ochai Agbaji and another 13 points from Devon Dotson. Devon Dotson contributed 8 assists, while Udoka Azubuike cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
BYU got 16 points from TJ Haws in a losing cause and another 13 points from Kolby Lee. TJ Haws contributed 5 assists for them, while Connor Harding had 7 rebounds.
Kansas led at halftime, 29-28.
Kansas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-31.
Kansas heads into a battle against Colorado. BYU, meanwhile, will have their next action against Montana Tech.
