Siena Defeats Marist 52-50 - Recap
Siena got 16 points from Donald Carey as they ran past Marist 52-50 on Friday at McCann Center.
Siena did not, however, defeat Marist against the spread, which closed at -5.5 at most sportsbooks.
Siena got 14 points from Jalen Pickett and another 6 points from Elijah Burns. Jalen Pickett contributed 5 assists, while Gary Harris, Jr. cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Marist got a 12-point performance from Jordan Jones, who was supported by 12 points from Tobias Sjoberg. Michael Cubbage had 3 assists in a losing cause for Marist, while Braden Bell grabbed 7 rebounds.
Siena was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Siena heads into a battle against Niagara. Marist, meanwhile, will have their next action against Quinnipiac.
