USC Defeats Arizona 57-48 - Recap
Jonah Mathews scored 14 points leading USC to a 57-48 victory over Arizona at Galen Center on Thursday.
USC won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +4.5-point spread as underdogs.
USC got 11 points from Onyeka Okongwu and another 9 points from Daniel Utomi. Elijah Weaver contributed 3 assists, while Onyeka Okongwu cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Arizona got 15 points from Zeke Nnaji in a losing cause and another 11 points from Nico Mannion. Stone Gettings contributed 2 assists for them, while Zeke Nnaji had 10 rebounds.
USC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Arizona had a 36-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
USC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Arizona State. Arizona will aim to get back on the winning track at UCLA.
