Prairie View A&M Defeats Grambling State 75-69 - Recap
Prairie View A&M got 20 points and 4 assists from Devonte Patterson en route to a 75-69 victory over Grambling State on Saturday at William Nicks Center.
Devonte Patterson had 20 points for Prairie View A&M and Antione Lister chipped in with 18 points. Faite Williams had 7 assists for them, while Devonte Patterson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 17 boards.
Grambling State got 17 points from Ivy Smith Jr. in a losing cause and another 15 points from Cameron Christon. Ivy Smith Jr. contributed 11 assists for them, while Terreon Randolph had 5 rebounds.
Prairie View A&M was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Prairie View A&M won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-22.
Next game, Prairie View A&M takes its act home to face Jackson State looking for another win. For Grambling State, they head on the road to face Texas Southern.
