BYU Cougars vs Portland Pilots Recap - BYU Wins 85-54
BYU cruised to victory on Thursday, running Portland out of the gym and running up a 85-54 score at Earle A. Chiles Center.
BYU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -16.5-point spread as favorites.
Yoeli Childs had 22 points for BYU and Jake Toolson chipped in with 22 points. TJ Haws had 8 assists for them, while Kolby Lee was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Portland got 12 points from JoJo Walker in a losing cause and another 10 points from Isaiah White. Quincy Ferebee contributed 3 assists for them, while Jacob Tryon had 6 rebounds.
BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
BYU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 45-23.
BYU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the San Francisco. Portland will aim to get back on the winning track at San Diego.
