William & Mary Falls 83-60 Against Hofstra - Game Recap

The battle between Hofstra and William & Mary didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as William & Mary was handed a 83-60 defeat on Saturday at Kaplan Arena.

Bettors who backed Hofstra were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +2.5 at sportsbooks.

Desure Buie had 22 points for Hofstra and Tareq Coburn chipped in with 19 points. Desure Buie had 7 assists for them, while Isaac Kante was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.

William & Mary got a 19-point performance from Nathan Knight, who was supported by 11 points from Bryce Barnes. Thornton Scott had 5 assists in a losing cause for William & Mary, while Nathan Knight grabbed 16 rebounds.

Hofstra led at halftime, 43-34.

William & Mary had a 31-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Hofstra looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Northeastern. William & Mary will aim to get back on the winning track at College of Charleston.
