Recap - San Francisco Defeats BYU 83-82

BYU was burned for 32 points by Khalil Shabazz on Saturday as San Francisco picked up a 83-82 win at War Memorial Gymnasium.

San Francisco won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs.

San Francisco got 23 points from Jamaree Bouyea and another 8 points from Josh Kunen. Jamaree Bouyea contributed 5 assists, while Charles Minlend cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

BYU got 20 points from TJ Haws in a losing cause and another 19 points from Yoeli Childs. Yoeli Childs contributed 8 assists for them, while Yoeli Childs had 7 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed BYU were victorious, as the score was 45-39 at the break.

San Francisco won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-24.

Next game, San Francisco takes its act on the road to face San Diego looking for another win. For BYU, they head home to face Pepperdine.
