Grambling State Falls 64-57 Against Prairie View A&M - Game Recap
Prairie View A&M got 20 points and 10 rebounds from Gerard Andrus en route to a 64-57 victory over Grambling State on Saturday at Assembly Center.
Chancellor Ellis had 13 points for Prairie View A&M and Darius Williams chipped in with 10 points. Faite Williams had 4 assists for them, while Gerard Andrus was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Grambling State got 14 points from Travon Bunch in a losing cause and another 11 points from Trevell Cunningham. Ivy Smith Jr. contributed 3 assists for them, while DeVante Jackson had 9 rebounds.
Prairie View A&M was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Grambling State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-31.
Next game, Prairie View A&M takes its act on the road to face Jackson State looking for another win. For Grambling State, they head home to face Texas Southern.
