LSU Defeats Texas A&M 89-85 - Recap

LSU earned a 89-85 victory over Texas A&M on Tuesday, getting 19 points from Skylar Mays at Reed Arena.

LSU won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread.

LSU got 19 points from Trendon Watford and another 18 points from Javonte Smart. Skylar Mays contributed 8 assists, while Trendon Watford cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Texas A&M got 20 points from Josh Nebo in a losing cause and another 17 points from Andre Gordon. Savion Flagg contributed 4 assists for them, while Josh Nebo had 9 rebounds.

LSU led at halftime, 42-33.

LSU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-25.

Next game, LSU takes its act on the road to face Mississippi looking for another win. For Texas A&M, they head home to face South Carolina.
