Northeastern Falls 74-72 to Hofstra - Recap
Hofstra got 24 points from Eli Pemberton en route to a 74-72 victory over Northeastern on Thursday at Matthews Arena.
Hofstra was the ATS victor, as they covered the +4.5-point spread as an underdog.
Hofstra got 23 points from Desure Buie and another 15 points from Isaac Kante. Desure Buie contributed 4 assists, while Isaac Kante cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Northeastern got 28 points from Jordan Roland in a losing cause and another 18 points from Bolden Brace. Shaquille Walters contributed 6 assists for them, while Bolden Brace had 10 rebounds.
Hofstra led at halftime, 40-25.
Northeastern had a 28-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
