Recap - Presbyterian Defeats Gardner-Webb 68-62
Cory Hightower scored 12 points leading Presbyterian to a 68-62 victory over Gardner-Webb at Paul Porter Arena on Saturday.
Presbyterian got 10 points from Ben Drake and another 9 points from Chris Martin. Kody Shubert contributed 3 assists, while Ben Drake cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Gardner-Webb got 19 points from Nate Johnson in a losing cause and another 17 points from Jaheam Cornwall. Christian Turner contributed 3 assists for them, while Eric Jamison Jr. had 8 rebounds.
Presbyterian was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Presbyterian had a 43-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Presbyterian looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the High Point. Gardner-Webb will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Radford.
