Maryland-Eastern Shore Falls 76-52 to Old Dominion - Recap
The battle between Old Dominion and Maryland-Eastern Shore didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Maryland-Eastern Shore was handed a 76-52 defeat on Sunday at Chartway Arena.
Old Dominion got 16 points from Aaron Carver and another 13 points from A.J. Oliver II. Malik Curry contributed 7 assists, while Aaron Carver cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Maryland-Eastern Shore got a 15-point performance from Ty Gibson, who was supported by 7 points from AJ Cheeseman. Ty Gibson had 4 assists in a losing cause for Maryland-Eastern Shore, while Gabriel Gyamfi grabbed 5 rebounds.
Old Dominion was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Old Dominion won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 45-28.
Next game, Old Dominion takes its act home to face Middle Tennessee looking for another win. For Maryland-Eastern Shore, they head on the road to face Virginia Tech.
