Drake got 11 points from Liam Robbins en route to a 56-53 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Tuesday at Knapp Center.
Drake earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -9.5-point spread.
Drake got 8 points from Joseph Yesufu and another 7 points from D.J. Wilkins. Anthony Murphy contributed 5 assists, while Garrett Sturtz cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee got 12 points from DeAndre Abram in a losing cause and another 9 points from Tyler Behrendt. Josh Thomas contributed 4 assists for them, while Amir Allen had 7 rebounds.
Drake was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee had a 36-35 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
