Davidson was burned for 40 points by Markus Howard on Thursday as Marquette picked up a 73-63 win at HP Field House.
Marquette won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.5-point spread as favorites.

Davidson got a 28-point performance from Kellan Grady, who was supported by 8 points from Hyunjung Lee. Mike Jones had 2 assists in a losing cause for Davidson, while Kellan Grady grabbed 10 rebounds.
Davidson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-33.
