Belmont Falls 87-82 Against Eastern Washington - Game Recap

Eastern Washington got 17 points from Mason Peatling en route to a 87-82 victory over Belmont on Tuesday at Reese Court.

Eastern Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +6.5-point spread as underdogs.

Tanner Groves had 14 points for Eastern Washington and Ellis Magnuson chipped in with 13 points. Ellis Magnuson had 9 assists for them, while Kim Aiken Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.

Belmont got a 30-point performance from Nick Muszynski, who was supported by 17 points from Tyler Scanlon. Grayson Murphy had 8 assists in a losing cause for Belmont, while Michael Benkert grabbed 9 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Belmont were victorious, as the score was 42-41 at the break.

Belmont won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-32.

Eastern Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Washington. Belmont will aim to get back on the winning track at Middle Tennessee.
