Recap - Lipscomb Defeats Tennessee Tech 78-65
Lipscomb grabbed a 78-65 win over Tennessee Tech on Monday, behind a 23-point effort from KJ Johnson at Hooper Eblen Arena.
Carson Cary had 15 points for Lipscomb and Ahsan Asadullah chipped in with 14 points. KJ Johnson had 8 assists for them, while Ahsan Asadullah was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Tennessee Tech got 17 points from Jr. Clay in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jared Sherfield. Keishawn Davidson contributed 6 assists for them, while Larry Kuimi had 10 rebounds.
Lipscomb was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Tennessee Tech won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-36.
Lipscomb looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Xavier. Tennessee Tech will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Reinhardt.
