Delaware State Falls 100-66 to Georgia - Recap
The battle between Georgia and Delaware State didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Delaware State was handed a 100-66 defeat on Friday at Stegeman Coliseum.
Rayshaun Hammonds had 26 points for Georgia and Amanze Ngumezi chipped in with 16 points. Sahvir Wheeler had 7 assists for them, while Rayshaun Hammonds was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
Delaware State got a 22-point performance from John Crosby, who was supported by 16 points from Myles Carter. John Crosby had 4 assists in a losing cause for Delaware State, while Ameer Bennett grabbed 9 rebounds.
Georgia was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Georgia won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-24.
Next game, Georgia takes its act home to face Georgia Tech looking for another win. For Delaware State, they head home to face LIU-Brooklyn.
