William & Mary got 22 points and 12 rebounds from Andy Van Vliet en route to a 78-65 victory over Hampton on Friday at Kaplan Arena.
William & Mary got 21 points from Bryce Barnes and another 15 points from Nathan Knight. Bryce Barnes contributed 7 assists, while Nathan Knight cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Hampton got a 30-point performance from Jermaine Marrow, who was supported by 20 points from Ben Stanley. Jermaine Marrow had 6 assists in a losing cause for Hampton, while Ben Stanley grabbed 9 rebounds.
William & Mary was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
