Nets Fall 129-127 Against Atlanta - Game Recap

Brooklyn was victimized by Trae Young for 34 points as the Hawks defeated the Nets 129-127 in NBA action on Sunday.

Atlanta won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 233.5.

Atlanta got 28 points from Dejounte Murray and another 22 points from Bogdan Bogdanovic. Trae Young contributed 8 assists, while Clint Capela cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

The Nets got a 27-point performance from Cameron Johnson, who was supported by 24 points from Mikal Bridges. Spencer Dinwiddie had 8 assists in a losing cause for Brooklyn, while Nic Claxton grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Hawks hit the break winning 64-57 before taking care of business in the second half.

Atlanta won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-37.

Atlanta looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Wizards. The Nets will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Milwaukee.
