Recap - Bulls Defeat Brooklyn 131-87

The battle between the Bulls and Nets didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Brooklyn was handed a 131-87 defeat on Friday at United Center.

The Bulls were a -1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 222.5.

Zach LaVine had 32 points for Chicago and DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 17 points. Coby White had 4 assists for the Bulls, while Andre Drummond was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

The Nets got a 22-point performance from Cam Thomas, who was supported by 19 points from Seth Curry. Spencer Dinwiddie had 5 assists in a losing cause for Brooklyn, while Dorian Finney-Smith grabbed 6 rebounds.

The Bulls hit the break winning 63-29 before taking care of business in the second half.

Chicago had a 57-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Chicago heads into a battle against the Wizards. Brooklyn, meanwhile, will have their next action against Atlanta.
