Brooklyn Defeats Orlando 115-113 - Recap
Brooklyn got 36 points and 10 rebounds from James Harden en route to a 115-113 victory over Orlando on Friday at Barclays Center.
Brooklyn did not, however, defeat the Magic against the spread, which closed at -9.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 209.0.
Patty Mills had 22 points for Brooklyn and James Johnson chipped in with 17 points. James Harden had 8 assists for the Nets, while James Johnson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
The Magic got a 21-point performance from Jalen Suggs, who was supported by 17 points from Chuma Okeke. Cole Anthony had 9 assists in a losing cause for Orlando, while Mo Bamba grabbed 10 rebounds.
Brooklyn trailed at halftime, 62-53.
Orlando won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 45-43.
Brooklyn looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cavaliers. The Magic will aim to get back on the winning track at Milwaukee.
