LA Tech Falls 37-27 to Blazers - Recap
DeWayne McBride scampered through the LA Tech defense for 272 yards as UAB handed the Bulldogs a 37-27 defeat on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium.
The Blazers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -18.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 55.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
DeWayne McBride rushed for 272 yards, while Jermaine Brown Jr. added 119 yards in the win. Trea Shropshire and Dexter Boykin added 74 and 17 receiving yards respectively.
Charvis Thornton rushed for 132 yards for LA Tech, while Marquis Crosby added 72 yards. Jack Turner threw for 167 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Tre Harris and Julien Lewis had 63 and 53 yards respectively.
LA Tech was outgained by UAB 497-467 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-19 by the Bulldogs.
