South Alabama Defeats Old Dominion 27-20 - Recap
South Alabama earned a 27-20 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday in Week 13 action at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
The Jaguars earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -16.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played PUSH the total of 47.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
La'Damian Webb rushed for 74 yards, while Braylon McReynolds added 56 yards in the win. Jalen Wayne and Caullin Lacy added 63 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Blake Watson rushed for 110 yards for Old Dominion, while Hayden Wolff added -14 yards. Hayden Wolff threw for 285 yards for the Monarchs, while receivers Blake Watson and Ahmarian Granger had 88 and 71 yards respectively.
Old Dominion lost the offensive yardage battle to South Alabama 398-381 yards in Saturday's game. South Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 24-17.
South Alabama led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:08-24:52 split in that important category.
