Recap - Roughriders Defeat Edmonton 34-23

Cody Fajardo scored twice as Saskatchewan earned a 34-23 win over Edmonton in football action on Saturday at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.

Saskatchewan was a favorite by -6.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 48.0.

Cody Fajardo rushed for 51 yards, while Jamal Morrow added 46 yards in the win. Duke Williams and Kian Schaffer-Baker added 80 and 25 receiving yards respectively.

Taylor Cornelius rushed for 86 yards for Edmonton, while Ante Milanovic-Litre added 38 yards. Taylor Cornelius threw for 209 yards for the Elks, while receivers Kenny Lawler Jr. and Emmanuel Arceneaux had 105 and 46 yards respectively.

Saskatchewan lost the offensive yardage battle to Edmonton 365-261 yards in Saturday's game. Saskatchewan had more first downs as that total ended up 22-20.

The time of possession battle favored Edmonton as their offense was on the field for 31:36, longer than the 28:24 of their opponents.

Saskatchewan heads into a Week 11 battle against the Lions. Edmonton, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ottawa.
